Make sure Camera and Microphone are set to “allow”

MICROPHONE TROUBLESHOOT

If you are having issues, check your microphone settings at chrome://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fmy.caveday.org%3A443 and make sure they’re set to allow or ask (not block)

CAMERA
When my.caveday.org/welcome asks you for camera permissions, click “Enable” and check the box for “Remember this decision.”

You’ll need to do this on both the welcome page and inside the cave.

If you enabled permissions without checking the box, click on the camera in the top toolbar, remove camera permissions and then reload the page.

CAMERA TROUBLESHOOT

If you are having microphone issues, go to Preferences > Privacy. Make sure “Block new requests” is unchecked and that my.caveday.org is not listed as “Blocked”

MICROPHONE

If you are having microphone issues, go to Preferences > Privacy > Microphone. Make sure “Block new requests” is unchecked and that my.caveday.org is not listed as “Blocked”

CAMERA
Go to my.caveday.org/welcome and “Allow Video/Mic Permissions.”

Go to Safari Menu > Preferences.
For Camera, Microphone, and Autoplay make sure “my.caveday.org” is set to “Allow”
(As opposed to Ask or Deny)

MICROPHONE
Safari Menu > Preferences

Make sure “When Visiting Other Websites is set to “Ask” or “Allow”

If my.caveday.org is listed, make sure it’s set to “Allow”

CAMERA
Go to my.caveday.org/welcome

Click on the Camera icon in the URL address bar at the top of the browser.

Make sure it’s set to “Always Allow.” Reload the page

MICROPHONE
Paste edge://settings/?search=microphone into the search bar. Click on Microphone Permissions. Make sure “my.caveday.org” is not listed under blocked and that “Ask before accessing” is checked.

If you are having an issue on Windows 10, go to Computer Settings > Camera Privacy Settings > Allow Apps to Access your camera (make sure this is on and your browser is enabled)
